Nils Linden, who holds a Master of Science from University of Cologne, has joined Digpro as Sales Manager in Germany. He has extensive experience from the German fiber market, and his latest position was at Esri Deutschland. With a background in geographics and economics, Nils commenced his career as a consultant in fiber development, and he has stayed in the business since. Due to his interest in telecom and after learning more about dpCom, the advanced Network Information System (NIS) developed by Digpro, Nils was happy to accept the position as Sales Manager.
“After eight years at Esri Deutschland, I wanted a new challenge”, says Nils. “I really like dpCom, and want to bring it to the German market. With a system like this, I trust that German fiber operators can take their business to another level.”
dpCom allows for fiber operators to document and thereby digitalize the whole life cycle of their fiber networks. It has proven successful on the Swedish fiber market, which often is referred to as one of the most advanced in the world.
“The German fiber market is somewhat behind as far as digital connectivity is concerned”, reflects Nils. “In Sweden, almost 97 percent of homes and businesses have super-fast broadband. That is where we need to be in Germany. We have to build and operate fiber, and it has to be done in a sustainable manner. With dpCom, you document everything about the fiber network in one system. This includes the processes for planning, designing, operating and maintaining. Instead of working in silos, everyone involved gets the same view of the data. This virtual representation of the fiber network is a Digital Twin, and it supports everyone with not only processes, but also for business development, mobile workforce and customer communication. There are a lot of small fiber operators rising in Germany. For sustainable and profitable fiber networks, this is the way to go.”
Nils will be based at Digpro GmbH in the Rhein-Main metropolis Frankfurt. Should you wish to contact him, mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call +49 151 706 019 87.
