Digpro is now launching Release 10.6

In Release 10.6, there is a strong focus on delivering solutions for two of today’s major trends: the energy transition and the digitalization of almost everything. This is put into practice with the ability to automate the process when handling solar panel applications. A new module, dpCom Operator, is also available. This, and a host of other enhancements, will continue to support utility network providers.


New module – dpCom Operator

dpCom Operator streamlines the management of planned and unplanned outages, providing a comprehensive solution for efficient control. dpCom Operator allows users to implement status changes to individual or multiple rows, whilst ensuring that changes are cascaded up and down the hierarchy. The cascading adheres to a predefined set of rules, responding to the status of overlying and underlying objects. Furthermore, dpCom Operator offers robust features for communicating with affected end-customers during outages. It compiles essential statistics to support decision. It stands as an indispensable resource for organizations seeking to optimize outage management by minimizing downtime and enhance customer satisfaction.



Process Automation

Process Automation is one of the modules which has enabled the automated processes for solar panel applications. It can be utilized in a host of situations where manual interactions can be replaced by automation. Enhancements include:

  • Support for manual decision points – these can now be incorporated into the process, and used to guide the process in various directions based on the decision.
  • Automations for handling certain aspects of a solar panel application – these are added to the automation library. Thus, it is possible to automatically generate the customer facility for the delivery point relevant to the application, and to perform a network calculation. The process can be designed so that different actions can be taken based on the network calculation. For example:
    • An approved calculation – proceeds to the installation consent phase.
    • A disapproved calculation – such as one showing that the electric network might need to be extended, proceeds to manual handling.
  • Published process – automation parameters, message IDs can be edited.
  • Parameters for Subject and Message – are now included in the automation for sending a message to the installer in a customer connection process.


A new add-on module s introduced, providing detailed tracking and recording of work hours and material usage, giving transparency and control over project expenses.

  • Time Reporting – records the number of hours dedicated to specific activities. Different wage types, ensuring accuracy in cost tracking, are accommodated. Comments provide context and additional information.
  • Material Reporting – enables for either manually adding a material row, or searching for materials within imported catalog items. Selecting an item from the catalog automatically populates the material usage post with relevant data. The material quantity can be added, including notes for a comprehensive record.

Time and Material Reporting can easily be added to Organizer Webmap, and can also be integrated with the financial system. 

Another helpful UX enhancement in Organizer is the possibility to hide/show tabs that in the Organizer task form. This is recommended to be done for all users, and each user can save their respective tab settings.



A number of enhancements are available, including:

  • dpPower Operator Real-time – possible to simulate in the normal state of the network, improving outage planning.
  • Outage Map – the side panel is redesigned, making it easier for end-customers to find relevant information.
  • Operator OMM – a new option for creating free operations is added. This allows for planning things without a clear connection to the network, such as setting reminders for announcing the affected customers after closing a valve.


Support for surveys is introduced. Surveys are now integrated under Inspections, offering a versatile tool applicable for not only maintenance checks, but also for a wide range of field surveys, including those conducted before or after construction projects. Surveys can be tailored for specific needs by adding different types of questions, such as text, numerical, photographic and even geographical coordinates. Additionally, a detailed reporting feature has been incorporated for the review of survey results.



The appearance and user experience of the time view in WorkPlanner is modernized.

A host of advancements for fiber networks, including:

  • Advanced Customer Clustering – an automatic customer clustering feature, for multiple customer nodes to be grouped. These clusters can benefit from the standard design tools, significantly expediting both high-level and low-level design processes.
  • Node Overview Enhancement – the overview provides a clearer representation of cable connectivity. Thus, there is a distinct differentiation between cables that pass through as opposed to those that terminate at a specific point.
  • Integration with Open Reach for PIA NOI – seamless integration with Open Reach for processing Notices of Intent (NOI). This automated integration streamlines the communication with Open Reach, making day-to-day work efficient. Also introduced are features that enable users to manage infrastructure updates and attach essential information, such as This includes editing existing NOIs by adding attachments such as cables and equipment, as well as defining additional routes with information on structures and duct sections.
  • Site and Duct Access Documentation – support for the documentation of site and duct access. This feature is regards to keeping a record of the pars of the network being used or leased by other network owners or Internet Service Providers (ISP), including specifics like rack space or Optical Distribution Frame (ODF) allocations.


  • The support for configuring risk parameters in drinking water systems is now also available for wastewater networks.
  • Tracing in dpWebmap.


A new feature Fast-Track Emergency Sectioning, to advantage during critical and sudden leaks in district heating networks. It is paramount to swiftly inform the control room about the specific remote-operated valves that need to be closed to mitigate the leak. For efficiency and responsiveness of the emergency response system.


dpGas now also supports Pneumatics networks.

A host of UI/UX and other technical enhancements are a long-term initiative. These are included but not limited to, as listed below.
