Exeri and Digpro today announce a new collaboration that integrates Exeri’s smart sensor technology for overhead lines directly into dpPower, Digpro’s network information system for power grids. The new integration provides the control center with a unified and accurate real-time view of the grid’s status.
Exeri’s system continuously monitors the condition of the network and converts sensor data into clear and easy-to-understand information for the user as soon as faults or disturbances are identified. Problem areas can thus be located significantly faster than with traditional methods, contributing to both fewer and shorter outages.
Through the integration with Digpro’s dpPower, Exeri’s fault indications are visualized directly within dpPower, where network owners already plan, analyze, and operate their networks. The control center can therefore view fault events in relation to the network’s structure, components, and geographic location — all within a single system.
“Through the integration of Exeri’s sensor technology with our network information system dpPower, utility companies receive direct fault indications from overhead lines visualized in their network model,” says Jonas Jacobsson, Head of Sales at Digpro. “This makes it possible to locate faults more quickly, prioritize the right actions, and create a more efficient and reliable power grid.”
“Our customers are asking for smart and integrated system solutions, and I am pleased that Digpro shares our view on the importance of delivering a turnkey solution,” says Magdalena Brodin, CEO of Exeri AB.
The collaboration is a step toward more digitalized and data-driven power grids, where sensor technology and geographic information systems work together to provide better decision support for network owners.
About Exeri
Exeri delivers turnkey system solutions with smart sensors for monitoring power grids. We have helped power grid companies identify faults in their networks since 2016 and today monitor more than 3,000 km of Sweden’s overhead line network. With our flexible integration interface, the system can share information with external systems, including leading GIS platforms in the industry. Exeri holds patents in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
About Digpro
Digpro develops software products and solutions for critical infrastructure such as telecommunications, electricity, district heating and cooling, gas, and water. Digpro’s products support the entire lifecycle of networks — from planning and design to construction, commissioning, and maintenance — and enable a digital twin that gives network owners full control over their infrastructure.
