Wildanet is an internet service provider who brings high speed fiber network to digitally neglected areas of Cornwall. Over 85 million GBP will be invested in digital infrastructure in rural areas during the next 28 months, thereby bridging the digital divide for farmers, businesses and local communities.
Wildanet is building about 1000 meters of fiber per day. In such rapidly expanding fiber network, it is of great importance to have system support for planning, designing, building and operating. This in order to build a sustainable, high quality network model. Wildanet has therefore chosen Digpro’s software system dpCom.
Anders Hellermark, Senior Vice President at Digpro, is delighted that dpCom will support Wildanet’s connecting Cornwall.
“Wildanet will provide a host of new opportunities to rural Cornwall. As an example, reliable broadband connection will allow farmers to leverage new technologies. dpCom will provide Wildanet with the tools to plan, build and operate the network with high productivity, whilst maintaining a high service level to customers. We are proud to support them when digitalizing Cornwall”, he says.
